Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard

I bought this product for 13.5k (1k SBI credit card discount) and was very skeptical of ordering this costly keyboard. But it really helped me in reducing my wrist pain. I have to spend 10-12 hours on my desktop which caused me wrist pains.So I ordered this keyboard along with Anker Vertical Mouse. Using this keyboard + mouse combo along with daily exercise caused my wrist pains to go away.I can finally sleep peacefully at night without pain in my arms.Would recommend this product purely for ergonomic needs.

i used the microsoft 4000 since its release. The backspace started to malfunction so I figured it was time for a new keyboard. I bought this puppy. The biggest change is actually the spacing of the keyboard. The right side is a little farther to the right than the 4000 so you have to readjust. Otherwise, the keys are quiet, the keyboard is light. I really like it.

I'm still in the process of getting used to this keyboard, but have used the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 in the past, and they are very closely related to one another. The keys on the new unit are much smaller and the feel is different. That 4000 has much more key travel, and the new Sculpt has a very short keystroke by comparison. Favorably impressed so far, but will continue to use it before making a final determination.UPDATE: After using the unit for a couple of weeks, I find it more comfortable and efficient than the 4000 that I was accustomed to previously. The layout of the keyboard is more compact, and as mentioned above, the keystroke travel is significantly less. Less strain to reach, less strain to press. While some of the reviews on this product have dissed the Function keys, those are not used by me all that much and the different feel/size is a non-issue. I know some of the other reviews have indicated dissatisfaction with the life expectancy of the unit. Mine is basically new, so can't comment on that area as yet.

Of course you are like me. You've looked at 101 review and some videos of the keyboards trying decide between a Logitech and a Microsoft keyboard or maybe even considering a mechanical keyboard. You've gone to best buy to try out what they've got, maybe even purchased a Surface ergonomic keyboard in white, only to find out that it's too wide for your liking and that you'd prefer to have more room for a mouse and are kinda bummed about forking over 100+ for a keyboard that you don't really really like. And then you waste another 2 hours checking out reviews.Well forget that.Get this.It's great.Trust me.

This is an amazing keyboard for those who need an ergonomically perfect keyboard. I have had much trouble with my wrists, and I find this keyboard is the BEST keyboard I have ever owned (I have owned over 15 "ergonomic" keyboards).The keys are large and have very short and soft action ("chicklet") like the MacBook keyboards.I find it exceptionally comfortable for my repetitive-injury prone wrists
