Brita Longlast Everyday Water Filter Pitcher

Honestly super confused by some of these "reviews" first off how do you not see mold growing in your pitcher when it looks like that? *referring to a past review from someone* first off if 26 dollars gets me a years use that's great secondly? How are you gonna say the top doesnt come off? The filter literally is underneath the top you need to take it out to even get the filter out and put in 🤣🤣. Listen shipping is an aggressive process and sometimes items are thrown around and break. This thing came flawless I followed all the steps such as dumping the first 2 pitchers out even though it was clear !!! I did it three times just because and ran it in the sink like supposed to! This thing is easily taken apart to be cleaned my water is horrible tasting and this makes it so much better I also use it for filtered water for my ice machine. No complaints simple design works as it should and is easy to clean when you have a standard IQ

I had previously owned a Brita pitcher (about 5 years ago) and didn't care for it. It was complicated to use, water often spilled everywhere, black particles always ended up in our water, and it didn't seem like it was making much of a difference. Because of this, I was very hesitant to give another pitcher a try. However, I recently started drinking A LOT of water and needed something that kept my water nice and cold (the ice from our fridge left weird particles in my water that freaked me out).I chose this pitcher because of the high rating and I'm so happy that I did. I love it. I refill the entire thing multiple times a day. My water is always filtered nicely with no sign of particles or cloudiness. It filters quickly and doesn't spill when pouring. It does it's job nicely and simply.

This pitcher is pretty straightforward. It works exactly as advertised. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the inside filter reservoir DOES come out for cleaning, and it should be removed for cleaning before first use. If you do this, you shouldn't have issues removing it later.I've owned several Britas, from the traditional style to the Stream, so I knew what to expect as far as fill time. I actually replaced my Stream with this as the Stream only seems to filter chlorine. The longlast filter that came with this pitcher produces as much cleaner tasting water, as do the original white filters.This pitcher does have a wide pour spout with no restriction, but I've had no issue in filling even ice trays. It just angle it to pour out of one of the corners of the spout. I do also hold it with one hand, with the other hand on the front of the pitcher, thumb on the lid to keep it secure. This is especially helpful if there's water in the top filter reservoir.My only con is that it doesn't have an indicating lid like most other models to. They do supply a sticker for the top with a moveable indicator to remind you when yo change, but I would have preferred the lighted reminder. I'm not sure why they skipped it on this model given that it's priced the same as the Monterey. It's not a huge deal as you can usually taste when the filter needs to be changed, but it's nice to have a heads up that it's close in case you're out of filters.

We've been using Brita Water Filter Pitchers for many years and they've all been great! The reason why I've purchased this unit was only to replace our old pitcher for a fresh look and larger capacity. The difference between drinking tap-water and filtered water is immediately noticeable, so based on years of experience, I can highly recommend THIS brand to everyone! :-)

Nice size and shape for what I need. I do have to lift it with both hands when it is full of water. I also make sure that the filter is inserted tightly. Otherwise the water just runs through. I get my filters in bulk when they go on coupon at Costco. It is much easier than carrying gallons of water home from the grocery store or carring the individual bottles. Plus I have less plastic to recycle by using a Brita. If you get one, just make sure to put the top on with the extention toward the back.
