Echo Sub - Charcoal

I have some serious bass in my room, WOW! it can handle the deepest bass and pairs nicely once it is in the set. If it's not in the set just delete the entire set and start over. There are no adjustments on the speaker this is done with your voice, Bass up or down, just like you would do to adjust the volume. You can Alexa to reset the equalizer, just say it. Remember this does not pair with the older generation, Alexa. I'm hopeful that one day I will control the volume with Alexa​ app for volume and music control. But still, love it. This is a must have for your Echo Plus - it adds exactly what you need for that clean bass in the music you love. I have a great room that I've put this in on the first floor, and I spend a lot of time on my computer on the balcony that overlooks it - the music sounds amazing no matter where I am & the bass is perfectly paired so that it's not overpowering the vocals.If you enjoy bass like I do, and the convenience of the Echo Plus, this is a must-buy. It's perfect for parties, hanging out with friends & enjoying your favorite music (I have a very broad & eclectic taste, from Fleetwood Mac to Wu-Tang) & it all sounds great with this awesome addition. Listen to me. I'm audiophile all day. I love quality audio. At this price point, paired with two 2nd gen echo plus devices, the sound quality is beautiful. It is up there with Bose, Bowers & Wilkes and makes my B&O sound like a toy. It's worth getting excited about.

I bought the 2 echo promotion package with the sub but I split it up and put one of the echo's in a different room. I have, in my living room, 1 echo connected to the sub. It took a little while (maybe 5 minutes, but I'm impatient) after registering the sub to the account to allow me to pair. Maybe it was doing a firmware update in the background I'm not sure. However, once i got it going this sub really cranks for what it is. I like how you can control the basic equalizer settings, this helped a lot. My living room is not huge , maybe 500sq feet. And the one echo and sub was the perfect amount of room filling sound. I may try the stereo pair out, but it may be overkill. Extremely satisfied with it will highly recommend to others. Great value by itself, amazing value for multi echo package.

I’ve been missing out! I decided to take the plunge and buy 2 Alexa Plus Devices plus a subwoofer! I’m so amazed at how awesome my music sounds now! I would encourage people to get the same set-up if you’re not happy with the sound of your music in your home! On a final note, this setup blew my Bose Wave Radio (SoundTouch) out of the water; it’s been relocated to the kitchen.
